Volunteering at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and School of Theatre Arts

Central to the Civic Theatre’s success are the hundreds of volunteers who help make magic happen each season.  From the actors, singers and dancers, technicians and carpenters, costume sewers, ushers and coat check attendants, tour guides, and stage crew — each are volunteers giving their time and talents to ensuring the show does go on!

The Theatre has a network of more than 600 volunteers who donate thousands of hours each year to bring this stage and theatre to life.   There is no role too large or too small to fit the talents of these dedicated individuals, and there is always room for others to be a part of our team!

Please join us in becomng a volunteer at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre and School of Theatre Arts. We have a place for everyone, no matter what talents, skills or abilities you may (or may not) have. You can become a part of making  theatre magic for 120,000 West Michigan neighbors every year.
