ABOUT THE SHOW: A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD | THEATRE FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES VERSION

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe… all charm.

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre is excited to invite Young Audiences to experience A Year With Frog and Toad: a tale of friendship that endures throughout the seasons.  An entire run of “Pick Your Price” performances allows the community to experience live theatre – maybe for the very first time –  with a manageable price point that YOU decide.

A Year With Frog and Toad is based on the books by Arnold Lobel, Book and Lyrics by Willie Reale, Music by Robert Reale.

Rated: G for the whole family

A Year with Frog and Toad TYA is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Pick Your Price for the entire run: The amount you pay is based on what you are able and willing to give the production, whether that is the cost of a small coffee or the bill for a large dinner. The important thing to us is that we are able to share live art with you, without the burden of a price point.  We believe that all people should experience the thrill, excitement, and storytelling of live theatre. DIGITAL PLAYBILL

Once the show has opened, you can CLICK HERE to access the show’s Digital Playbill. Why digital and not printed? This decision had many factors that went into it including the reduction of our paper footprint in an effort to be more climate-conscious as well as budgetary restrictions coming out of the pandemic. Digital Playbills remain archived long-term and can be accessed HERE.
