Tuesday/Thursday, 6:00-8:00pm

Technical Rehearsals*
March 18th – 21st
Monday-Thursday, 6:00-8:00pm

Performances*
Friday, March 22nd at 7:00pm
Saturday, March 23rd at 7:00pm
Sunday, March 24th at 2:00pm

There are no rehearsals on March 12th due to our Low Sensory Production of The Descendants.

One-Act Performance Block: The Real Deal

MUST take any GRCT CORE Acting Class (22/23 OR 23/24), PLUS one other choice from below:

1 Year of Summer Camp (2023)

Any GRCT CORE Musical Theatre Class (22/23 OR 23/24)

Any GRCT Elective Class (22/23 OR 23/24)

Guided by a professional director, students learn a short play (15 minutes) to be performed on Civic’s Meijer Majestic Stage for a paying audience as part of the Performance Block Showcase! The Real Deal is a modern retelling of Margery Williams’ The Velveteen Rabbit and showcases the transformational power of love. This class is the perfect way for your child to experience the excitement of performing for a large audience in a warm, nurturing environment. Everyone who registers will be cast — don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting opportunity!

*Absences from Technical Rehearsals and Performances will not be allowed. Absences from Staging Rehearsals are highly discouraged and may have an impact on a student’s participation in the program.

Registration deadline for the Performance Block is Thursday, February 1st. Sorry, NO REFUNDS will be given after the registration deadline.
