Guided by a professional director, students learn a short play (15 minutes) to be performed on Civic’s Meijer Majestic Stage for a paying audience as part of the Performance Block Showcase! In A Mixed-Up Fairy Tale, the Grimm brothers are writing some of their classic fairy tales when the wind mixes up their pages! During their dreams that night, familiar characters like Cinderella, Rapunzel, the Fairy Godmother, Seven Dwarfs, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, and more meet for the first time in a silly, twisted story. This class is the perfect way for your child to experience the excitement of performing for a large audience in a warm, nurturing environment. Everyone who registers will be cast — do not miss your chance to be part of this exciting opportunity!

*Absences from Technical Rehearsals and Performances will not be allowed.  Absences from Staging Rehearsals are highly discouraged and may have an impact on a student’s participation in the program.
