We are so excited to welcome a couple new staff members to Civic Theatre. We can’t wait to see them bring their experience and talents to their positions. Meet Kait and McKenzie!

KAIT POLZIN
Outreach Specialist

Grand Rapids native Kait joins our Education Department in the Outreach Specialist role. She has a background in French literature and teaching. She has been doing outreach for the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum and teaching for the Creative Youth Center. She’s excited to help promote the benefits of arts through education and help promote further connection between young artists in our community with new opportunities. When Kait isn’t at Civic Theatre, she can be found exploring her own creativity by writing in one of Grand Rapids’ many coffee shops.

MCKENZIE ROUNDS
Development Assistant

McKenzie is our new Development Assistant. She recently graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Arts and Cultural Management. She spent the first half of 2018 in New York interning with MCC Theatre in their Development department. She appreciates Civic Theatre’s commitment to education in our community. When McKenzie isn’t at Civic Theatre, she can be found gardening (in the warm months) and reading (in the cold months).
