Wednesday – Saturday evenings at 7:30pm
Sundays at 2:00pm
Children and Holiday productions also have Saturday matinees at 2:00pm
Parking and Arrival Times
Please allow at least 30 minutes to park and arrive at the Theatre once you are downtown. A parking map can be found on our directions and parking page (Click for Map). Doors open for seating 30 minutes before each performance. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled performance time.
Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager at the first appropriate and safe break that allows for the least disruption for the actors and audience. Alternate seating will be assigned, meaning that your party will not sit together or in the seats that were originally assigned.
Tickets are non-refundable and no credits can be issued for unused tickets.
Season Ticket ONLY Exchange Policy
With your purchase of a season ticket package for the Civic Theatre, you can receive complimentary ‘same show’ ticket exchanges without charge. Exchanges must be made at least 48 hours prior to the start of the ticketed performance. Please note, a $5.00 exchange fee may be applied to exchanges made without the minimum 48-hour notice. Contact the Ticket Office during business hours to exchange your show tickets (tickets must be presented at time of exchange).
Vouchers and Gift Certificates
Please note vouchers and gift certificates must be exchanged for a ticket, in person during standard business hours, by Civic Theatre Box Office. Vouchers and Gift Certificates do not guarantee admission to a performance if not exchanged in advance. There are no exchanges once the ticket has been redeemed. Vouchers and Gift Certificates are only valid for the season indicated on the document. They may not be exchanged for cash, there are no refunds, and they may not be combined with other offers. Photocopies are not accepted.
Performance cancellations due to weather or other circumstances are very rare. When a performance must be cancelled, we will make every attempt to contact you and to make arrangements for an alternative date. Please note: Civic Theatre does not offer refunds due to bad weather when a performance is taking place.
Civic Theatre has a “no babe in arms” policy. Per Grand Rapids Fire Marshall all attendees must have a ticket. Please make sure you review the recommended audience listing and refrain from bringing children to productions that may not be suited for a younger audience.
