Dance Teacher

I started performing professionally at the age of 19 when I moved to Orlando, FL. While there I performed in shows and parades at The Walt Disney Company, Universal Orlando, and surrounding theaters, resorts, and specialty gigs. I was lucky enough to be able to tour with companies and new work projects all over the country and worldwide. A highlight was the Melbourne, Australia Fringe Festival. (“The festival?!? The KINGS festival?!? AHA. HA. HA. HA. HA”) I consider myself a “performer” because I have worked in many mediums. They include: singing, dancing, acting, stilt walking, puppetry, aerial silks, and animated performance.

Since the age of 16 I have been choreographing for numerous shows, specialty acts, and show choirs. Main stage shows include: Jesus Christ Superstar, Spring Awakening, Shrek, the Musical, and now School of Rock and SpongeBob here at GRCT! 🤘🏼🎸🎶

I have been a license Zumba instructor since I was 20, and teaching many styles of dance and exercise classes since then. My favorite is my Cardio Drumming – Drumming Divas – class! (Talk about getting a great workout and releasing stress!) My favorite styles of dance are musical theatre, jazz, and tap.

I love teaching and being creative. My favorite aspect of teaching is seeing the pride and look of accomplishment on students faces when they are able to get a move/step or do a routine they never imagined possible. No matter the age, this is the best reward as a teacher! I believe in encouraging students to strive to be better than they imagine possible by giving them all the support and motivation to achieve these goals.

I can’t wait to perform and dance with you! 🤗🧡
