Welcome to the School of Theatre Arts

The nationally recognized Grand Rapids Civic Theatre School of Theatre Arts offers the most comprehensive community theatre education program in the country.  We offer hands on opportunities for students to grow in confidence, with an emphasis on creativity and collaboration.

School Year Classes

Fall, Winter and Spring terms provide a variety of acting, musical theatre, improv, technical and dance classes for ages 4 through adult.

Summer Programs

Summer camps for ages 4 through completed 12th grade and the Summer Repertory Theatre Intensive (SRTI) program for students who have completed 6th through 12th grade
