ABOUT THE SHOW: SCHOOL OF ROCK

Based on the hit movie, this rock-filled adventure follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. There he turns a class of straight–A pupils into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band. But can he get them to the Battle of the Bands without their parents and the school’s headmistress finding out? Based on the Paramount movie by Mike White. Book by Julian Fellowes. Lyrics by Glenn Slater. New Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Rated PG-13 for language and some adult themes.

CLICK HERE to see a variety of accessible programs and services based on the needs of our community. For School of Rock, we’ll offer an ASL Interpreted Performance, and a Pay What You Can Preview Performance.

DIGITAL PLAYBILL

Once the show has opened, you can CLICK HERE to access the show’s Digital Playbill. Why digital and not printed? This decision had many factors that went into it including the reduction of our paper footprint in an effort to be more climate-conscious as well as budgetary restrictions coming out of the pandemic. Digital Playbills remain archived long-term and can be accessed HERE.
