Summer Repertory Theatre Intensive Program

SRTI image

Summer Repertory Theatre Intensive (SRTI) is designed for students who are looking for in-depth training in either performance or production and who have completed 6th grade but not yet started college  Professional Theatre staff and special guests from all over the Midwest will provide training, guidance, opportunity, and insight into what it takes to achieve the highest level of artistic excellence in the theatre!  Performance-track students will be cast in one of the two SRTI productions, and serve as crew for the other.  Production-Track students will be an integral part of the design and build process for both productions, and serve as crew heads for the performances.  ALL students will take intensive, conservatory style courses in the afternoons followed by rehearsal or production time in the evening.  The SRTI productions are part of GRCT’s Mainstage Season and reflect the high quality performance and production values that GRCT audiences have come to expect!

Some need-based scholarship opportunities may be available upon acceptance into the program.

School Closing Policy

In the event that a closing must occur, students will be notified through the email given at registration and notice will be displayed both onscreen and online at WOOD-TV8 and WZZM-13.
