Lauren Davidson is excited to start her third year as a Teaching Artist at Grand Rapids Civic Theatre! Lauren is very passionate about theatre and music, and enjoys being both on and off stage. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Grand Valley State University and is an elementary music teacher. In addition to her work with students during the day, Lauren has also music directed several adult and youth productions in the Grand Rapids area. When she’s not teaching, Lauren regularly performs as a vocalist with VoxGR Choral Ensemble, and has been in several Shadblow Theatre productions. She has been singing as a soloist with the Sturgis Wind Symphony for over 25 years and still returns a few times a year to sing and play French horn. Lauren loves seeing the impact Civic and the arts have on the Grand Rapids community and is grateful to have the opportunity to help young artists explore their passion and creativity.
