Dance, Choreography
I’ve been dancing for over half my life, and I have no plans of ever stopping! I started with tap dance when I was 16, which opened my eyes to the many other forms of dance out there. All through college I trained with GVSU Dance Troupe, learning from incredible artists who had been practicing dance their entire lives. After graduating, I continued training until I started choreographing in 2019. Since then I’ve choreographed for multiple schools and theatres in town, and performed on stage countless times. I believe that theatre and dance hold a uniquely powerful gift for storytelling, and I love empowering artists of all kinds to learn to harness and channel that potential through their bodies. I love teaching at Civic too because we have access to some really beautiful facilities here. The dance floors here are truly a joy to dance on!
