Emily has 15 years of dance training and has been sharing her love of dance as a teacher and choreographer for well over a decade. Her favorite choreography credits include Joseph…Dreamcoat (Circle Theatre), The Sound of Music (Shadblow Theatre), The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Mary Poppins (Jenison High School). She has also performed in a number of musicals and concerts in the community, most recently appearing as a tap-dancing egg and Renaissance woman in the ensemble of Something Rotten. What she loves most about teaching at Civic is watching her students enthusiastically take on challenges! Outside of dance, Emily enjoys working as Director of Philanthropy for Mary Free Bed and spending time with her husband, Mikey, and their son.
