Kait Polzin

She/Her
Acting Teacher

Kait is a West Michigander by birth but has spent time living, studying and working in Virginia and France. Since graduating with her M.A. in French literature from Michigan State University, she has worked as a language immersion preschool teacher, film instructor, book store manager, museum educator and most recently as program manager and creative writing teacher for the Grand Rapids Creative Youth Center. Kait currently serves as the Outreach Specialist for the Civic Theatre School of Theatre Arts where she enjoys working with students from around Grand Rapids and connecting them with opportunities to participate in classes and internship programs at Civic. When she’s not working with kids to bring their artistic creations to life, Kait loves listening to jazz music, organizing impromptu street parades and singing loudly while doing the dishes.
