Joe Worth

Youth Acting Teacher

Joe graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with an Associate of Arts, majoring in Theatre. He then went on to graduate from Western Michigan University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership.  He has taught for the Grand Rapids Public Schools for 20 years and has been a part of Grand Rapids community theatre both on and off stage since his college days.  Joe joined the Civic School of Theatre Arts in 2009 and has taught classes from early elementary through middle school ages.  His favorite part of teaching at Civic is to watch students thrive in an open and diverse area that they may not find during their regular school day. Joe loves watching the creativity of young people grow and see the choices they make within their acting scenes.
