Jenna Betka-Pope

Summer Camp Coordinator and Youth Acting Teacher

Jenna grew up in the Grand Rapids theater community and has been performing locally since the age of 8. Most recently, she has performed in Heathers(Actors’), Thoroughly Modern Millie(Civic), Into the Woods(Circle), and On the Town(Circle). Jenna strives to stay active in the arts community whether that is through teaching theater, taking dance classes, performing as an actor, or making people laugh as a member of Funny Girls. She attended Central Michigan University with three majors in Special Education, English Education, and Spanish Language. During the day, Jenna works as a Middle School Resource Room Teacher at Excel Charter Academy. She loves working at Civic because she is able to help students recognize many sides of themselves and foster a love of the arts.
