You make it more than a theatre
Great theatre, but so much more…
You know us for outstanding productions, but the heart of our theatre is so much more. As a GRCT donor, YOU make us more than a theatre. You create a home for over 800 volunteers, and a School for hundreds of students to grow in confidence, collaboration and creativity.
Hear one family’s story of how our performance became more than just a show…
YOU made one performance more than just a show for the Dodge family. At Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, your gift creates More – More than a Show, More than a School, More than a Theatre. Will you make More a reality with your tax-deductible gift today?

MORE THAN A GIFT
If Grand Rapids Civic Theatre has made a significant impact on your life, consider one of these special ways to further your impact. We’d love to partner with you in matching your Civic Theatre passion with a giving opportunity.
Established in 1986, by generous bequests received from the Hanchett and Whitehead Estates, The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre’s Endowment Fund provides a perpetual base of support to assure the financial stability of the theatre. Gifts to the endowment may be made with an outright gift of cash, stocks & securities, retirement funds, life insurance, or qualified real and personal property. Today, the endowment stands over $2 Million, and generates approximately 5% of the Civic’s Operational needs.
For more information about making a gift to the endowment, please contact call our Development Director directly at (616)222-6020.
Buy a Brick Campaign
Support the Endowment Fund and honor family or friends, remember a loved one or express your personal or corporate commitment to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre with the purchase of a specialized Brick. All funds raised through this fundraising initiative are designated to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre’s Endowment Fund. For more information about purchasing a brick, please contact us online or call our Development Office directly at (616)222-6020.
