2nd and 3rd grade students have the opportunity to join the 4th through 12th grade students in putting together a 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway production <\/span>Newsies <\/span><\/i>on Civic Theatre\u2019s Mainstage for a paying audience! Students in second and third grades have a reduced rehearsal schedule for the first three weeks, as they will be cast in the larger ensemble numbers as Newsies! Beginning the fourth week of rehearsals, all students will attend staging rehearsals five days a week to run the show! This fast-paced production is a fantastic opportunity to practice your singing, dancing, and acting skills in a safe and supportive environment. Everyone who registers will be cast – do not miss your chance to be part of this exciting opportunity!<\/span><\/p>\n

*Absences from Technical Rehearsals and Performances will not be allowed<\/b>. A single absence during stage rehearsals is permissible, but highly discouraged; this may have an impact on a student\u2019s casting in the program.<\/span><\/p>\n
