Performance Block Pre-Requisites<\/h1>\n

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be in a Civic Mainstage production? Now you can find out! Our Performance Block<\/strong> classes for grades 2+ mimic the experience of a Civic Mainstage process – from audition to performance – in a condensed block of time! A professional staff of directors, stage managers, music director, choreographer, designers and technicians will take students through the entire process, culminating in three public performances for a paying audience on Grand Rapids Civic Theatre\u2019s Meijer Majestic Stage.<\/p>\n

Performance Block classes are intended to be an opportunity for active students to apply the skills they have been learning in classes and camps to their work as a performer. In order to ensure students are prepared for the rigor of the program, certain prerequisites are required in order for a student to participate in Performance Block productions.<\/p>\n

**Previous participation in Performance Block does not count as a prerequisite**<\/em><\/p>\n
