Lucas Brooks - Lucas will be a freshman at City High School this fall. He enjoys acting, dancing, and techno music. He was in GRCT’s 2001 Traveling Troupe show The Yellow Boat and has taken 6 years of theatre training at the Civic, including 4 years of Theatre Arts Day Camp and 3 years of Phase II camps. Also, he was on the deck crew for GRCT’s recent production of Communicating Doors and is a Theatre Assistant for Theatre Arts Day Camp. |

Brandon Cloyd – This is Brandon’s fourth year of Summer Stock. Brandon has also appeared in GRCT’s 1998 Traveling Troupe, Fiddler on the Roof, Peter Pan, The King and I, Pinocchio, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, School House Rock Live, James and the Giant Peach, and Anne of Green Gables. At Circle he has appeared in Babe, Nobody Loves a Dragon, and Winnie the Pooh. A junior at City High, Brandon is involved in Student Council, Honor Society and Forensics. He also enjoys Caribbean Line Dancing and can really swing his engine. |
| Julie Milligan – Julie makes her Summer Stock debut this year, but has been active at GRCT in The Magic Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle, Free to Be… You and Me, and the 2001 Traveling Troup productions of The Yellow Boat. Additionally, she dances with the Jr. Company of the Academy of Performing Arts and was involved in the Van Andel Arena’s World Party 2000. The young thespian will also debut in Forest Hills Northern High this fall when she enters the 9th grade. | |
| Matthew Elmore – Matt has previously appeared in Master Arts Theatre Summer Stock productions of Snow White, Pocahontas, and Charlotte’s Web. He enjoys playing piano and currently holds a Brown Belt at the Shorinkan Karate Academy. You may have seen him in The Wizard of Oz this past season at GRCT. At Master Arts he has appeared in main stage productions of Shadowlands, Brigadoon, and It’s A Wonderful Life. He also appeared in H.M.S. Pinafore at Cornerstone University. This will be his second Summer Stock production. | |

Tara Marie Hammen – This is Tara’s second year of Summer Stock. She appeared in Free To Be…You and Me and Camelot here at GRCT. Having graduated from East Kentwood High School this year, she will attend Western Michigan University next year. She has been a student of tap, jazz and ballet for 14 years. Her hobbies include singing, acting, writing, dance, and softball. |

Sarah Stark – This will be Sarah’s first year in the Summer Stock program at Civic Theatre. She has been seen in our classes though, and at Master Art’s Theatre’s Summer Stock camp. She has participated in Civic Theatre’s Traveling Troupe for two years. Sarah is in the 10th grade at Coopersville High School. Her favorite kind of music is alternative and show tunes. |

Samantha Pleva –This is Samantha’s second Summer Stock production. She has been involved in Phase II and Theatre Arts Day Camp and was a member of the 1997 and 2001 Traveling Troupes. Samantha will be a junior at Caledonia High School next year. She has a pet guinea pig named Bailey and enjoys cheerleading, shopping, making scrapbooks, and track. Her favorite show she has worked on to date is The Yellow Boat. |

Rob Flood – Rob has most recently been onstage at GRCT as Niko the Flying Monkey Commander in The Wizard of Oz. He was also encased in over 100 pounds of plastic as Ariel, the Robot in Return to the Forbidden Planet. Other GRCT shows include Camelot, Scrooge, Fiddler on the Roof, and Cinderella. Rob has worked backstage and onstage at Civic and Circle Theatre for five years. His hobbies include theatre and computers. This is Rob’s fifth year in Summer Stock. |

Rachele Thomas - This is Rachele’s first year in Summer Stock. She has performed in several plays at Civic, including Free to Be… You and Me, Camelot, Cinderella and A Little Princess. Other theatre credits include Tuck Everlasting (Circle Theatre) and Anne Frank and Me (Grand Rapids Jewish Theatre). Rachele is a freshman at Forest Hills Northern High School. |

Rachel Proulx – Although this is Rachel’s first year as a Summer Stock Trouper, she is no stranger to the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre School of Theatre Arts. Rachel has been in 2 performance classes and various theatre wheel classes. Last year she was a Theatre assistant for Theatre Arts Day Camp. Rachel is very fond of writing, shopping and reading. Rachel attends West Catholic High School, and her favorite production was Shakespeare’s The Twelfth Night. She loves to spend time with her baby brother and she thanks her parents and friends for their immense support. |

Nicole (Nicki) Hartley – Nicole was a member of Traveling Troupe the past two years and appeared in GRCT’s production of Anne of Green Gables this past season. She has been in Summer Stock for two years where she has appeared in Into The Woods. She enjoys theatre, hanging out with her friends, movies, AOL, and volunteering. She will be a junior at Forest Hills Central High School where she is a member of the Volunteer Board. |

Matt Iacopelli – Matt is performing in his fourth Summer Stock production for GRCT. He has also taken several classes in the School of Theatre Arts and will be a freshman next year at Grand Rapids Community College. At Catholic Central he was active in choir, Drama Club, Latin Club and Peer Ministry. At GRCT he as worked backstage on every show this season except Stuart Little and Sylvia. His favorite band is Tilted Axes, which Jeremy Motz, another Summer Stock troupe member, is in. He would like to thank his mom, his agent, and his dad for all their support. |

Kyle Stockwell - This is Kyle’s first year with Summer Stock. In the past, he has participated in Master Arts Theatre Day Camp and Fine Arts Music Exploratory Class, as well as two years of voice lessons. He has been involved with many plays through the junior choir of his church and Riverbend players. He is in the 10th grade at Grandville High School, where he has performed in school plays. When he’s not doing theatre, he enjoys music, reading, and playing Nintendo. |

Kristi Szczepanek – Kristi has been involved at Civic Theatre "forever". You may have seen her at GRCT in The Wizard of Oz where she played a sassy tree. Her most recent and favorite show so far has been The Sound Of Music at Kenowa Hills High School, where she played the part of Liesl. Besides drama, she plays violin in the school orchestra, is a student council member, is part of The National Honors Society, and French Club. Next summer she will be traveling to Australia as part of the Walker/Colac student exchange, and also to France with her French Club. |

Kathy Mountz – Kathy teams up with Summer Stock for the first time, and has appeared in Once Upon a Mattress at Comstock Park High School, where she will become sophomore in the fall. Backstage jobs came fast and furious for productions of Singin’ in the Rain, Anne of Green Gables, and Communicating Doors (all at GRCT). She has been active in several GRCT training programs and enjoys theatre, as well as singing, chatting online, and channel surfing, as well as relaxing. Though they can’t be here to cheer her on, her two Shi-Tzu dogs (Lily and Zoe) and her rabbit, Reese’s, offer their support from afar. |

Jessicia VerBurg – Jessica was a member of Traveling Troupe 2000 and this is her second Summer Stock production. A junior at Grandville High School she has been involved in student council, Interact and sports. She also appeared in summer stock productions with Masters Arts. In her free time, she enjoys dance, shopping, going to the beach, and volunteering in the community. Jessica is a professional model with Unique Model & Talent. Jeremy Motz – A graduate of Fennville High School, Jeremy has there appeared in Dracula, Arsenic and Old Lace, Alice In Wonderland, Twelve Angry Men, Art, and Dial "M" for Murder. At Civic Theatre he has recently performed in Anne of Green Gables, and this year is his fourth with Summer Stock. Into track, wrestling, and drums (with his blues band, the "Tilted Axes"), he has six immortal words for the audience: "Don’t worry, Motz still loves you." |

Jacob Williams – Jacob’s theater training includes Eliot Young Theater, and the Grand Blanc High Drama group. He will be a sophomore next year. Jacob’s hobbies include reading, writing, and hanging out with his friends. This is his first year in Summer Stock. |

Emmi Hilger – This is Emmi’s second year of Summer Stock. Emmi has been involved in the Theatre Arts Day Camp programs and has taken dance, voice, and acting classes in the School of Theatre Arts. She has also worked backstage at Civic and has appeared in Anne of Green Gables where she played Jane Andrews/Mary Jo. Emmi also was involved in this year’s Traveling Troupe production of The Yellow Boat. Emmi will be a sophomore at East Grand Rapids High School in the fall. |

Clare Wisner – Clare will be a junior at Grand Haven High School in the fall. She is the Vice President of the student senate and a member of the both the ski club and the ambassadors. Some of her credits include Phase 2 at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, 5 years of helping out with The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Central Park Players), and A Light in the Mill (Grand Haven High School). When Clare is not at the theater, she enjoys traveling, reading, and watching movies. |

Christine Marfia – Christine is a familiar face in Summer Stock after playing Milky White in last year’s production of Into the Woods, Jr. She has also appeared in Jr. Summer Stock productions of Harrison Bergeron and Really Rosie, and has been a Theatre Assistant for GRCT’s Spring Break Escape. Most recently she acted with her father in the Savoyard’s spring production of Iolanthe, dressing in drag to play a 19th century trainbearer. |

Bridget Chervenka - Bridget just graduated from East Grand Rapids High where she appeared in Up the Down Staircase, Once Upon a Mattress, Anything Goes, and Brigadoon. At Circle Theatre she appeared in Henry and Ramona. Her Civic appearances include The Velveteen Rabbit, Annie, The King and I, School House Rock Live and Free To Be…You and Me, The Wizard of Oz. Before she started the Summer Stock program, she was a Theatre Assistant for many years. She has been a member of two Traveling Troupes and this is her third year of Summer Stock. Her family has given her a lot of support in her choices as she enters Hope College next year as a freshman. |

Amolia Star Moore – Whether as "Shelly" in Folkwood, "Connie" in Rescue 101, "Frenchy" in Grease or the swash-buckling "Inigo Montoya" in Princess Bride, Amolia has always been active in theatre. For these and other productions at various high schools and theatres, she honed her skills with drama class, Sound/Lighting Club, choir, band, and the renowned Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. Academics share her time with Quiz Bowl, Teen Scene, Student Council, and the National Honor Society; she will be a senior at Portland High School this fall. Adrienne Brown – This is Adrienne’s fifth Summer Stock production. Other GRCT performances include; School House Rock Live, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and Trixie True, Teen Detective. She was a member of the 1997 Traveling Troupe. She just graduated and plans on attending Michigan State in the fall. During High School at Gateway she was a Student Council Officer, a member of the Mock Trial Team, the Drama Club, and part of the School Management Team. |
