OUR 2006-07 SEASON
A CHORUS LINE is the stunning, instant-classic musical conceived and choreographed by Michael Bennett, with music by Marvin Hamlisch. Memorable songs include What I Did For Love; The Music and the Mirror; and One (Singular Sensation). A Chorus Line was a box-office smash on Broadway, winning numerous awards, as well as a special Gold Tony award as Broadway's longest-running musical at the time. The long-awaited revival will open in New York City this fall; Civic Theatre is privileged to perform it at the same time as the revival.
Based on the book series by Judy Blume, Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing is funny and fabulous theatre the whole family will enjoy. Children of all ages can relate to the trials and tribulations of fourth-grader Peter Hatcher, as he tries to deal with his impossible little brother, Fudge.

A musical based on the play by James M. Barrie, Peter Pan features characters "flying" around the stage as well as show-stopping numbers such as I'm Flying; I Won't Grow Up; and NeverLand.
It's a Michigan first! This hilarious comedy by Ken Ludwig, author of Moon Over Buffalo and Lend Me a Tenor, tells the tale of two down-on-their-luck English Shakespearean actors on the Moose Lodge circuit in Amish Pennsylvania.

When a Baker and his Wife learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell, and end up interfering with the stories of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack (the one who climbed the beanstalk!). The delightful romp through the Brothers Grimm menagerie of misfits and monsters features Music and Lyrics by Tony-Award winning legend Stephen Sondheim and Book by James Lapine. This is a Summer Repertory Theatre show.
This wonderful fantasy by celebrated local playwright, Max Bush features a fabulous buried treasure hidden in a magical forest protected by the hideous Spriggans and delightful faeries.
