Audrey Brewer
This is Audrey's third and final year in SRT. Previously,
she was seen as Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit and Princess
Sarah in The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Audrey has been a
student in the Grand Rapids Civic School of Theatre Arts,
completing the Theatre Wheel and appearing in Pirate Ship
Players and Tre Leon Troupe performance classes. She has
also stage-managed the Tre Leon Troupe and the Traveling
Troupe productions of Somebody Catch My Homework and The
Fabulous Fable Factory. She will be volunteering her time
as a Theatre Assistant this summer for the Phase II program.

Dan Christmann
This is Dan's first performance at GRCT, but he has appeared
in Robin Hood, Much Ado About Nothing, Hello, Dolly!, A
Midsummer Night's Dream and Beauty and the Beast at East
Grand Rapids High School. He was a crew member for the
award-winning Frankenstein for EGRHS. Besides theatre, Dan
has almost no social life, but he enjoys reading and playing
video games, laser tag and Dungeons and Dragons. |

Stephen Cornelius
This is Stephen's first appearance at GRCT, however he ran
spotlight for Always, Pasty Cline earlier this season. At
East Grand Rapids High School, he has been a member of the
sound crew, working on Hello, Dolly! and Frankenstein. He
also appeared as a member of the chorus this past spring
in Beauty and the Beast. He will be attending Hope
College this fall. |

Ben De Winkle
Ben will be a freshman at Calvin Christian High School. He
is glad to join SRT for the first year, though he has
attended both Theatre Arts Day Camp and Phase II in years
past. He performed in Brigadoon and 7 Keys to Baldpate at
his school and was the student director for Treasure
Island. Ben will be volunteering this summer as a Theatre
Assistant for Theatre Arts Day Camp. In his free time, he
enjoys playing cello, golfing, camping and reading. |

Ellen Doornbos
This is Ellen's second appearance in SRT, having previously
appeared as the South Wind in No One Will Marry A Princess
With a Tree Growing Out of Her Head. A member of Grand
Rapids Christian High's improv team for the past three
years, she also appeared as Maggie in 42nd Street at Grand
Rapids Christian. |

Alyssa Karnes
This is Alyssa's first time on the Civic stage. She is a
home school graduate and has appeared with Home School
Performing Arts in Fiddler on the Roof and When Calls the
Heart. She has been acting for four years. |

Christian Kling
Christian has been involved at GRCT for the past several
years, first in Theatre Arts Day Camp and Phase II and last
season in the SRT production of Aladdin, Jr. He has
completed the Theatre Wheel and volunteered earlier this
summer as a Theatre Assistant in the Kidsplay Kamp and Jr.
Theatre Arts Day Camp programs and will also be assisting in
Theatre Arts Day Camp. He will be a senior next year and
performs in the band, "Dissimulation." |

Marijke Kremin
This is Marijke's first SRT experience, but she is no
stranger to GRCT. She has participated in Theatre Arts Day
Camp, Phase II and has completed the Theatre Wheel. She
will be a sophomore at East Grand Rapids High School this
fall where she appeared in A Snake in the Grass and worked
on the crew for Frankenstein and Beauty and the Beast and is
a member of the varsity softball team. She dances at The
Moving Company and will be a volunteer Theatre Assistant
this summer in the Phase II and Theatre Arts Day Camp
programs. She enjoys watching movies with her friends. |

Joe LaChappelle (Guest Artist)
Joe has had the good fortune to have wonderful roles in
numerous productions over the past ten years. Most
recently, Elizabeth Rex at Actors' Theatre, and Wizard of Oz
and To Kill A Mockingbird at GRCT. He won the Grand Award
for Best Supporting Actor in a play for his role in The
Exonerated at Actors' Theatre. Joe would like to thank Mary
Kron and all involved with SRT for this opportunity. He is
looking forward to the challenge of keeping up with this
wonderfully talented young ensemble. |

Joey McLain
This is also Joey's first GRCT experience. A graduate of
Wayland Union High School, he was very active on the stage,
having performed in Ducks and Lovers, Dearly Departed, The
Man Who Came To Dinner and Trial of the Century. He has
also written, directed and performed in comedy sketches, and
enjoys camping, fishing and snowboarding in his spare time. |

Kyle Moore
This is not only Kyle's first GRCT experience, but also his
first onstage experience. He has been very involved as a
crew member at Forest Hills Central High School, where he
also plays trumpet in the band. He volunteers at the Forest
Hills Fine Arts Center, where he will also work backstage
for the Summer Stock show. He is an Eagle Scout and will be
a senior in the fall. |

Denis Mundere
Denis completed the Theatre Wheel this year at GRCT and is
looking forward to his first stage experience here. He'd
like to be remembered as fun, willing, helpful and nice! |

Julia Nichols
Julia has been involved in summer theatre camps here for the
past three summers, but this is her first time in SRT. She
has worked backstage at GRCT and Rockford High School, and
has designed lights for two shows at Rockford, where she
will be a junior this fall. She has appeared onstage in
Sleeping Beauty for the Rogue River Theatre. Julia will
volunteer this summer as a Theatre Assistant in the Phase II
program and Theatre Arts Day Camp. |

Marla Noorman
This is Marla's first experience at GRCT, although she has
been involved in theatre for ten years. She is home
schooled and most recently appeared in Fiddler on the Roof
for the Home School Performing Arts and as Veruca Salt in
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Caledonia Community
Players. |

Jonathan Richardson
This is Jonathan's first GRCT experience. He is a graduate
of Wayland Union High School where he was involved in the
Advanced Theatre Arts class and appeared in The Man Who Came
To Dinner. He has also written, directed and appeared in
comedy sketches and "enjoys long walks on the beach and
Danielle Steel novels." |

Hope Shangle
This is Hope's second year in SRT, having portrayed the role
of Princess Lara in The Twelve Dancing Princesses last
year. She has also been involved in Theatre Arts Day Camp
and Phase II at GRCT. At Jenison High School, she appeared
in Romeo and Juliet, Bye Bye, Birdie and many one act plays.
She was a crew member for Little Shop of Horrors and
Seussical, The Musical at Jenison, and for Beauty and the
Beast at Circle Theatre. |

Lauren Simmons
This is Lauren's third year with SRT, having previously
appeared in The Hobbit and as Princess Lindsay in The Twelve
Dancing Princesses. She is very active with Northview High
School, performing in Grease, Our Town and the One Acts.
She appeared in Rosenstrasse for Jewish Theatre Grand
Rapids. She has completed the Theatre Wheel and also been a
member of GRCT's Traveling Troupe, appearing in The Tomato
Collection and Somebody Catch My Homework. She also
volunteers as a Theatre Assistant in the Kidsplay and Jr.
Theatre Arts Day Camp programs. She would like to thank her
mother for her wonderful support. |

Amanda VanAssen
Amanda has been a member of the SRT troupe for three years,
previously appearing in No One Will Marry a Princess With a
Tree Growing Out of Her Head and Aladdin, Jr. She played
the role of Susan in Narnia: The Musical. She has had an
increased interest in the technical side of theatre this
year, working as a crew member for GRCT's Wizard of Oz and
The Music Man and Oliver at Circle Theatre. Amanda enjoys
SRT because it allows her to act and work on crew. She has
been a student at the GRCT School of Theatre Arts for nine
years, completing the Theatre Wheel and appearing onstage in
Pirate Ship Players and attends Grand Rapids Christian High
School. |

John Wier
This is John's first time working with GRCT. He has
performed in various theater productions at Kenowa Hills
High School, most recently in Footloose and Much Ado About
Nothing. He plays the trumpet for marching, jazz and pit
orchestra ensembles and also plays the drums for various
local bands. |
