Michael Crawford
(Jim Bono) is excited to be returning to GRCT after a ten
year hiatus. Mr. Crawford did the role of Tom Robinson at
its first production in 1995 with director Paul Dreher. In
the interim he has done two feature films Bellweather Falls
and Factory, with GVSU film department. He has also done
commercials, billboards, training and safety videos through
Fahey\Dreher Casting. He is a member of the Grand Rapids
Symphony Orchestra and the West Shore Symphony Orchestra as
a double bassist and he is on the faculty of Grand Rapids
Community College as a double bass instructor. This performance is
dedicated to: all friends everywhere and throughout time.
For the support of those we love through rough times and
easy times. And specifically to those friends whose level
of consciousness has brought light to darkened
relationships and the world. |

Koi C. Dickerson
(Gabriel Maxson) makes his Civic debut in Fences. He is a
Marketing Research Specialist for Directors in Research.
Koi's previous stage experience includes Leland in Blues
For An Alabama Sky for Actors' Theatre and
Director/Recruiter for The Sounds of Motown at Wealthy
Theatre in 2004. Koi is a student at GRCC, pursuing a
career in Biological Forensics. |

Edye Evans Hyde
(Rose Maxson) Grand Award nominee Edye Evans Hyde's
theatrical performances have included principle roles in
Dream Girls, Ain't Misbehavin', Smokey Joe's Cafe, Little
Shop of Horrors, Blues For an Alabama Sky, Nunsense,
Barnum(with) Peter Scolari, Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and
Grill, and Ragtime. Her most recent performance was for
Circle Theatre's production of Baby. Edye has been
teaching and performing jazz, blues and pop music for over
20 years in West Michigan, Los Angeles and Asia. Edye has
shared the stage with world-renowned blues singer Linda
Hopkins, pop singer Michael Bolton, actress Connie
Stevens, the late Ray Charles and Cuban trumpet player,
Arturo Sandoval. Edye has also appeared with The Grand
Rapids Symphony and The West Shore Symphony. Edye also has
recorded two very popular Jazz CD's, "Girl Talk" and "Lady
With a Song." Edye is very excited to have the chance to
perform this wonderful piece by August Wilson for Civic
Theater. |

Sam Prince
(Lyons Maxson) makes his Civic debut in Fences. With
majors in English and Theatre at the University of
Michigan, his credits include: Aladdin for Central New
Jersey Children's Theatre, Sonnyman in Wine in the
Wilderness for Kalamazoo Civic Black Theatre, a Reporter in
Run for Your Wife (Holland Civic Theatre), Mouse in The
Resurrection of Lady Lester and Eric in Les Blancs and
directed Daddy's Seashore Blues for University of
Michigan. Sam is a Mortgage Advisor for PHH Mortgage and
dedicates this performance to his wife, Melissa, their
daughter, Hannah, and the baby on the way. "Thanks for
allowing me get back to my passion!" |

Lewis Richards
(Cory Maxson) last appeared at GRCT in The Music Man as a
Salesman. His other Civic credits include Of Mice and Men
as Crooks (2004). and Annie (2002). Lewis has done
children's theatre and improvisation in Malaysia and
Indonesia as well as dance with the Spring Intensive at
Broadway Dance Center in New York. Other area credits
include I'm Not Rappaport (Jewish Theater), Last of Licon,
and Little House on the Prairie. Lewis also appeared in
the short film, Hill of White Elephants. Lewis would like
to paraphrase August Wilson with his dedication: "Thanks,
Dad for teaching me to take the crookeds with the straights
and not to worry whether people like me or not, but make
sure they do right by you." |

Michael P. Travis
(Troy Maxson) last appeared at GRCT in Ragtime in his
Grand Award nominated portrayal of Coalhouse Walker, Jr.
performed the Voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors
for Civic Theatre. He has appeared on virtually every
stage in Grand Rapids, among his favorites are plays by
August Wilson: Gabriel in Fences (Robeson Players 1993),
Lyons in Fences (Centre Stage 1994), Boy Willie in The
Piano Lesson (Circle Theatre 1994), Whining Boy in The
Piano Lesson (Calvin College 2002). While implementing
theatre troupes at Aquinas College and Calvin College for
multi-cultural students, Michael directed Long Time Since
Yesterday (Aquinas 1995), The Colored Museum (Aquinas
1996), Colored Peoples Time (Aquinas and Calvin 1997),
Tambourines to Glory (Aquinas 1997), Fires in the Mirror
(Calvin 1999). |

Eboni C. White
(Raynelle Maxson) makes her Civic debut in Fences. A
student at Ada Vista, a Spanish immersion school, Eboni
plays piano and loves acting and modeling. |
