Torie Brewton (Janie Gibbs) is making her GRCT stage debut. Torie has studied theatre at the GRCTs School of Theatre Arts. She has performed with her middle school in "Disaster" and "The Bird's Christmas Carol". Lorna Colon (Mother) is very happy to return to the GRCT stage after being in this season's production of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has appeared in shows at Ann Arbor Civic Theatre. She gives "much love to mi familia and Rolo." | |

Katie Duiven (Carrie Andrews) appeared in Civic's 1999 and 2004 production of Scrooge. Katie has appeared in Anne of Green Gables and Winnie-the-Pooh for Civic. She was also in Opera Grand Rapids' production of La Boheme and Circles' JosephÉ Katie is eleven and in the sixth grade at Northern Trails. She's also appeared in many local commercials. She would like to thank her entire family, especially her grandma for being so nice and helpful and Mom and Dad, her friends old and new, Penny, Kathy, and Stephanie for their hard work, and God for always being with her. | |

Terri Foley (Miss Elson/Mama Dei Santi) is making her stage debut in Harriet the Spy. Terri took her first acting class at GRCT School of Theatre Arts last fall, after bringing her son Keenan to classes for several years. She auditioned for Harriet with the encouragement of her acting instructor Paula Fuentes. She would like to take her family and friends for their support. She is a freelance photographer and graphic artist. | |

Melissa Fortino (Nadine/Miss Berry) was last seen at Civic as Essie in You Can't Take It With You. She was also on stage in Blue Horses & The Women. She received a B.A. in Theatre from GVSU. Her Grand Valley theatre credits include Whoever Said I Was A Good Girl? (Irene Ryan Nomination), No Exit, The Laramie Project, and Idiot's Delight (Irene Ryan Nomination for her performance as Irene). Since graduation she has worked at Opera Grand Raids, done voice overs, taught drama workshops for chldren, and served as Program Director for Westwood Drama Club. She is currently working in Civic's Business office, as a House Manager for GRCT, as a teacher for Civic's School of Theatre Arts, and as a substitute teacher for the Grand Rapids Public Schools. Geoff Hansen (Purple Socks) is enthused to make his debut on the Civic stage. Geoff has performed with Greenville Community Theatre in Steadfast Tin Soldier. He gives thanks to his Grandma Ruth for inspiration and to his mom and dad for taking him to rehearsals. | |

Nancy Connell Huhn (Cook/Agatha Plumber) made her debut as "Mrs. Morehead" in Civic's production of The Women last spring. She has taken classes with the GRCT School of Theatre Arts and also participated in various standup comedy workshops and amateur performances. She spent her professional life as a teacher and college administrator. Nancy dedicates her performance to her grandchildren Jack, Valentine, Megan, Auggie, Celeste, and Erin, "my best audience." | |

Silas Kachman (Little Joe Curry) appeared on the Civic stage in the recent production of Gypsy! and has been seen at Civic Theater in The Velveteen Rabbit. Silas has appeared in many short films and plays at GVSU, including The Merchant Of Venice and Big River. He has also taken many classes with the Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts. He is a 6th grader at Blandford. | |

Jeff Lehan ( Father /Harrison Whithers) is returning to the Civic stage, debuting in Scrooge ('99), and appearing in Camelot and Return to the Forbidden Planet. Jeff has also appeared in Actors' Theatre's production of Our Country's Good and Riverbend Players productions of Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Oliver. Jeff is also a member of American association of Community Theatres. | |

Jacob Loader (Sport) is excited to make his Civic stage debut. Jacob has done extensive work with the GRCT School of Theatre Arts, having completed the Theatre Wheel, Spring Break Escape, and Winter Break Escape. He has also been in many shows with East Rockford Middle School. He would like to dedicate his performance to his family, friends, teachers, and the Fine Arts Magnet at ERMS. | |

Breiganna Marie Minnema (Laura Peters) was last seen here at the Civic in Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. Breignanna has appeared in Opera Grand Rapids' La Boheme and both Circle Theatre's and Grand Rapids Christian High's productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She has taken dance lessons with Sherry Lee Allen at GRCT's School of Theatre Arts. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, brother and sisters for all their support. | |

Edward Jay Nelson (Mr. Waldenstein/Papa Dei Santi) is very well acquainted with the Civic Theatre stage. He debuted in A Flea in Her Ear and has performed in numerous shows including Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Boxcar Children, Cinderella, City of Angels, Kiss Me, Kate, The Velveteen Rabbit, Winnie-the-Pooh and last year's first adult Traveling Troupe. This past fall Edward appeared in Cotton Patch Gospel. He is currently the Road Manager and a performer in the Traveling Troupe production of Somebody Catch My Homework. Edward has also performed at the Actors' Theatre, GRCC Players, Madame Babe's Dinner Theatre, Ladies' Literary Club, Jewish Theatre, and Circle Theatre. | |

Maggie Nye (Harriet M. Welsch) is happy to be back at the GRCT, as she was last seen in Madeline. Maggie has done work with St. John Vianney's performance of Spring is for the Birds and was recently cast in Circle Theatre's Nine as "Young Guido" which is playing in July. She studies theatre at the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Maggie has a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. She likes playing the piano and takes vocal lessons with Sherry Lee Allen. Maggie would like to thank her family for their support and friend Sydney Aldrich for being there when times were hard. | |

Mariel R. Pindar (Beth Ellen Hansen) is happy to again be performing at Civic, previously being in The Velveteen Rabbit, Madeline, and most recently Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. Mariel has been heavily involved in GRCT School of Theatre Arts, including the Theatre Wheel and Peanut Butter Players. She was recently in Street Scene at GVSU. Kate Punches (Marion Hawthorne) is in her second show here at the Civic, appearing recently in Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. Kate also appeared in Wealthy Theatre's production of Annie where she played the title role. Kate has taken a year of classes with Rising Star and a semester here at the Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts. Kate is a fifth grader at Cannonsburg. She would like to thank her Mom and Dad for being so supportive and helpful through this process. | |

David Shepard (Pinky Whitehead) is excited to make his debut on the Civic stage. David has performed in eight plays, five with Koinea and three with Children's Creation. He has won three football trophies, one acting award, and one wrestling trophy. David would like to thank his grandparents and parents for driving him to practices. | |

Allie Soave (Rachel Hennessey) is happy to make her Civic stage debut. Allie has studied with Rick Hardenburg at Talent Workshop for two years and has been a student at Theatre Arts Day Camp here at GRCT. She would like to thank her parents and sisters for supporting her in what she loves. | |

Susan Strohmer (Ole Golly) Although she is no stranger to the theatre, this is Susan's debut performance for Civic Theatre. Susan has appeared on stage in numerous local productions. Just to name a few, you may have seen her in Circle Theatre's Henry and Ramona, Babe the Sheep Pig, Bunnicula, and The Odyssey; Grand Rapids Community College's Baby with the Bathwater, God's Country, and Naomi in the Living Room; The Ladies Literary Club's Dracula the Musical?; Grand Rapids Jewish Theatre's Cantorial; and Robeson Players' Sunday Morning at the Local Stop-n-Go. For the past several years, Susan has been designing costumes for local theatres including Civic Theatre's Jack and the Giant Beanstalk, Dracula's Treasure, Trixie True, Teen Detective, Free to beÉYou and Me, The Hardy Boys, and Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse. Susan is currently a theatre instructor at Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts and GRCC. |
