Mary C. Brown   Mary C. Brown (Emma) this is not her first time on Civics' stage. She was last seen in Dearly Departed and Night of the Iguana. She recently performed in Vagina Monologues for Grand Valley State University. A native of Rockford, IL, Mary performed in Strider and I'm Not Rappaport with New American Theatre; as Liesl in Sound of Music for Rockford College and as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun for Boylan Catholic Central HS. "I dedicate all these performances to the memory of my late husband, Jeffrey Brown."/td>
John S. Douglas   John S. Douglas (Dr. Patrick) Started performing in community theatre in 1986. This is not his first time on the Civic stage. He was last seen in Arsenic and Old Lace, The Children's Hour, Romeo and Juliet, Rumors and most recently Of Mice and Men. He has also graced the stage with Heritage Theatre in the Crucible (Best Supporting Actor Grand Award Nominee) and recently performed in Comedy of Errors. John works at Celebration Cinema as a Imax Projectionist.
Sheri Beth Dusek   Sheri Beth Dusek (Miss Lizzie/Bridget) recently finished directing Comedy of Errors at Heritage Theatre group and assistant directed You Can't Take It With You here at Civic. She has been seen onstage at Civic in Rumors, The Children's Hour, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Inherit the Wind. Other theatre credits include Lysistrata with Heritage Theatre, Social Security with Jewish Theatre, Mornings at Seven with Circle Theatre, and Arcadia with Actors Theatre. Sheri Beth has also performed professionally with Second City, Urban Gateways, and Wing and Groove Theatre in Chicago. Thanks to Andy and My OTS for their patience. Special thanks to my best friend Tracey, I wouldn't be who I am without you!
Samantha Gauthier   Samantha Gauthier (Actress/Lizzie) was last seen on the Civic stage as Belinda in the 1999's production of Noises off. Her most currents show was the 2003-2004 production of Tony and Tina's Wedding. She has also been seen in John Browns Body for Heritage Theatre, and Inside Out at Wealthy Theatre. She earned her BFA in theatre from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and also performed in many productions in Pennsylvania. Samantha would like to thank her wonderful daughter, mother, and husband. Thanks to the MAC and thanks to Bruce for giving me this incredible role! This performance is dedicated in loving memory of my dad a great actor but an even better father!
Timothy Gilmore   Timothy Gilmore (Mr.Borden) just finished You Can't Take it With You on GRCT Stage. He has a BFA in theatre and interpretation from CMU, where he performed in Hedda Gabler. Other theatre credits include Brown Pelican, Pinocchio, and Of Mice and Men at Muskegon Community College, and Hamlet and Peter Pan at WMU.
Walt Riegler   Walt Riegler (Harry Wingate) has been seen on this stage in Romeo and Juliet as Friar Laurence. Most recently performed in Heritage Theatre's production of Comedy of Errors. He has appeared at Master Arts Theatre in Christmas Carol, Cyrano de Bergerac, Lamp at Midnight, and The Foreigner, which he directed. He has also worked with Muskegon CC, Oakridge High School, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.
Scott Rosendall   Scott Rosendall (Defense) This performance marks his Civic debut. He recently earned a B.A. in Theatre from GVSU. He has appeared in many productions at GVSU, receiving a Grand Award nomination for the role of Dr. Waldersee in Idiot's Delight. He has entertained for several community theatres around Grand Rapids, including 24 Hour Theatre at UICA, and worked on a couple indie films still in post-production. Mary Clare Wallice   Mary Clare Wallice (Mrs. Borden) first role on the Civic stage. She has been in numerous productions at Master Arts Theatre most recently as Mary Lincoln in the "Last of Mrs.Lincoln." She was also in the Master Arts 2003-2004 production of "A Christmas Carol" as Christmas Present. She has worked backstage for many productions at Master Theatre, as a Costumer for Little Women and See How They Run, and was dialect coach for A Christmas Carol and Driving Miss. Daisy.
Stephanie Norton   Stephanie Norton (Assistant Director). Has assistant directed a few shows here at Civic, most recently The Adventures of Madeline, and also Boxcar Children. She last appeared onstage at Civic in Cinderella. She has also been seen in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Velveteen Rabbit and worked backstage for eight shows in the last two seasons including Kiss Me, Kate and Ragtime. She has received Civics' awards for both 500+ and two years in a row for the 700+ Volunteer Hours. She is a member of Compass Art Film Academy. She is working on her BFA in directing Theatre/Film. She would like to thank her mother and father for being their for her through the hard times and supporting her dream!
