Brian Damson (Sweeney Todd) is doing is first role with Civic Theatre. As a professional actor he played Grand Rapids with tours of Stagestruck, Grease and World Party 2000 at the Van Andel Arena. With regional theatre he appeared in Candide, Company and West Side Story for which he received a nomination for the L.A. Theatre Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor. He has performed on cruise ships and casinos. He has performed his one man show in New York City, been the opening act for Joan Rivers, Alan King, Rosemary Clooney and in 1998 he was inducted into the Musical Hall of Fame. Locally he is a personal trainer and Group Exercise teacher at East Hills Athletic Club and volunteers as a yoga instructor at Gilda's Club. |

Kathy Wagner (Mrs. Lovett) is returning to Civic's stage and we are glad to have her back. She received the 1997 Grand Award for Best Actress in a Musical for the Circle Theatre production of Passion. She was in Circle Theatre's Grand Award nominated Best Musical productions of Chicago and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. In New York she appeared in productions of Evita and So You Wanna Be On Broadway and was an original cast member of the L.A. premiered musical Love Handles. Her recordings include I Love a Piano, Takin' a Chance on Love, The Pink Album and Not Since Prom. In addition to performing she teaches voice. |

G.M. (Bud) Thompson (Judge Turpin) has been in many Civic Theatre productions including Return to Forbidden Planet, winning the 2000 Grand Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical. He was a Grand Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for Peter Pan in 1996. He is a member of the House Manager team and has worked backstage on many shows. He has appeared in Lost in the Cove, Actors' Theatre, Circle Theatre, Holland Community Theatre and GVSU productions. He is Design and Production Assistant at McCarty Communications. |

Dawe (Johanna) has been in a number of Civic Theatre productions including City of Angels and Guys and Dolls for which she received a Grand Award nomination as Best Supporting Actress in a Musical.
