Laurie Renae Veldheer (Dorothy) was first seen in GRCT’S The King and I as a princess. Other credits with GRCT include The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and Scrooge: The Musical, she is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Laurie has also performed with LLC, Actors Theatre and Hope Summer Repertory. Aside from being a Freelance TV and Radio talent, Laurie is a freshman at Grand Rapids Christian High.
Martha Cudlipp (Aunt Em/Glinda) is a seasoned actress to GRCT. Her first show at GRCT was The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Martha has also been seen in GRCT’S Annie, Sleeping Beauty and Camelot. Aside from GRCT, Martha has performed with Actors Theatre, Circle Theatre, LLC, Heritage Theatre, Undercover Production, Opera Grand Rapids and Tall Tale Travelers. Aside from performing, Martha is very active in GRCT School of Theatre Arts where she teaches acting and voice. She is the Coordinator/Teacher for GRCT’S new outreach program, Theatre to Schools Workshops.
John Freiberger (Uncle Henry/Emerald City Guard) was most recently seen in GRCT'S 'Much Ado About Nothing' as Friar Francis, and in 'Scrooge: The Musical' as Jocelyn Jollygoode. John is also a member of GRCT'S School of Theatre Arts. Local credits include 'A Fine and Private Place' with Jewish
Theatre and 'Floyd Collins' at Actors Theatre.  Other credits include
productions with Holland Civic Theatre ('Macatawa', 'See How They Run' and
'The Boys Next Door'). John has also worked with Master Arts Theatre, South
Haven Icabod Theatre, and the Flint Community Players. As a freelance video
talent, John has worked in productions for Steelcase, Moose International,
and Wolverine Worldwide.  John is the Director of Technology at Fennville
Public Schools.


Rodney Bean (Hunk/Scarecrow) made his first appearance at GRCT in Guys and Dolls. Others with GRCT consist of Schoolhouse Rock Live, Cinderella and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Rodney is a seasoned dancer with the Grand Rapids Ballet and also C.A.R.E. He has also worked with Circle Theatre. Aside from theatre, Rodney is also a commercial actor with St. Mary’s, Meijer and Spartan Foods. He is a System Admin. for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Jason Masters (Hickory/Tinman) debuted in GRCT’S Moon After Buffalo. Jason has not only performed in GRCT’S Camelot and Scrooge: The Musical, but has performed with Circle Theatre, as well as X Performance Group. Jason is a Freelance model, and also an actor in the Grand Rapids area.
Andrew J. Schneider (Zeke/Cowardly Lion) has been with the GRCT family since 1991, where he made his first appearance in Nobody Loves a Dragon. Since then, Andy has performed in Much Ado About Nothing, Scrooge: The Musical, Trixie True: Teen Detective, Cinderella, Fiddler on the Roof, James and the Giant Peach, The Wind in the Willows and was a member of the Traveling Troupe for two years. Andy has also performed with Village Theatre, Sparta Community Theatre, Riverbend Players, Circle Theatre, Jewish Theatre, Heritage Theatre, Spotlight Theatre and Flat River Community Players. Andy will be a Freshman at Western Michigan University this coming January.
Amy E. McDaniel (Almira Gultch/Wicked Witch of the West) is making her fourth appearance on the stage of GRCT. Previously, she has performed in The Sound of Music, Cinderella, Camelot and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Amy’s other credits consist of Circle Theatre, Port Huron Civic Theatre, Opera Grand Rapids, LLC, and the Molly Brown Dinner Theatre. Notwithstanding theatre, Amy is a Loan Processor at Old Kent Mortgage.
John March (Professor Marvel/Oz) is no stranger to GRCT. His credits include A Few Good Men, Born Yesterday, Love Letters, Moon Over Buffalo, Barefoot in the Park and Other People’s Money and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Other productions include performances with Actors Theatre and Centre Stage. Jon is a the most recent past-President of the Civic Theatre's Board of Directors.
Jack Duiven (Munchkin) is making his first appearance on stage at GRCT and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Jack has been previously seen in Noah’s Flood at Opera Grand Rapids. He is in the 4th grade at Collins Elementary.
Lane Herbach (Munchkin) is making her debut at GRCT. She is a seasoned dancer with C.A.R.E and has performed in Pied Piper, T’was the Night Before Christmas, Steadfast Soldier and Petroucha. Lane is in the 5th grade at Northern Trails. 
Michaela Larva (Munchkin), at age 6 is the youngest cast member and is  making her first appearance on stage and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. She attends the 1st grade at Holy Spirit and enjoys swimming, singing and gymnastics.
Lucas Rollins-Page (Munchkin) is making his debut at GRCT. Lucas is in the 6th grade at East Middle School. He is also a member of C.A.R.E.
Samantha Kemperman (Munchkin) was most recently seen in Scrooge: The Musical, though she has also performed in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with GRCT. Samantha is in the 3rd grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Michelle Kachman (Munchkin) was previously seen in Jack and the Giant Beanstalk. Other credits include performances with Grand Valley. She is in the 6th grade at Blandford Nature Center.
Jenna Pope (Munchkin) is making her debut with GRCT. She recently performed with GRCT’S Junior Theatre Arts Day Camp 2000. Jenna has also worked with Forest Hills Summer Academy. She is in the 3rd grade at Thornapple Elementary.
Alice Peterson (Munchkin) is making her first appearance with GRCT. Other credits include Circle Theatre, Opera Grand Rapids and C.A.R.E., and commercials for Amway. Alice is in the 8th grade at City Middle/High School.
Abigail Peterson (Munchkin) is making her debut with GRCT. Abby has performed in several piano and dance recitals. She currently takes piano lessons and practices Kung Fu. She is in the 2nd grade at the Math/Science Academy.
Julie Gritter (Munchkin) is making her first appearance with GRCT. She has danced with C.A.R.E. with the ballets," A Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Pied Piper," "Cinderella," "Copellia," "Petruska," "Steadfast Tin Soldier," "Twas the Night Before Christmas." She is in the 5th grade at Oakdale Christian.
Stephen Hohendorf (Munchkin) is making his third appearance with GRCT. He has formerly performed in Free to Be You and Me and Jack and the Giant Beanstalk. Other credits consist of Spectrum Theatre, commercials for Meijer, and also being the Whitecaps mascot.
Charlie Rhodes (Munchkin) is a seasoned actor with GRCT. His credits include Schoolhouse Rock Live, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Pinocchio, Free to Be You and Me, and Jack, Giant Beanstalk and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Charlie is in the 5th grade at Wealthy Elementary.
Caleb Brooks (Munchkin) is making his debut with GRCT and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. He is in the 2nd grade at Excel Charter Academy.
Nicolas Nivison (Munchkin) is making his first appearance with GRCT. His other performances include placing 2nd in the Greenville Danish Festival Talent Contest, placing 1st in the Belding End of Summer Talent Contest and performances with Riverbend Players. Nicolas is in the 5th grade at Rockford Christian.
Meghann Carr (Munchkin) is making her debut with GRCT. She attends Assumption Elementary and is in the 3rd grade.
Therese Enders (Munchkin) is making her debut with GRCT. She is a member of C.A.R.E. and has performed various ballets. She is in the 9th grade at Forest Hills Northern.
Taylor James (Crow) is no stranger to the stage at GRCT. Her first appearance was in Annie. Other credits include: The King and I, Traveling Troup 1997, Schoolhouse Rock Live, Sound of Music, Pinocchio, Fiddler on the Roof, GRCT’S Summer Stock production of Godspell and most recently as Trixie True in Trixie True: Teen Detective. She is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Other credits include performances with Circle Theatre and East Grand Rapids High School. She is a senior at East Grand Rapids High School. This past summer, Taylor was able to sing in the amphitheatre at Epidarauo in Greece.
Matt Elmore (Crow) made his first appearance this summer in Into the Woods with Jr. Summer Stock 2000 and is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. He has worked with Master Arts Company and Cornerstone University. Matt is a sophomore and is home schooled.
Kalli Pershon (Tree) made her first appearance in GRCT’S Trixie True: Teen Detective, but has also performed in Scrooge: The Musical. She is an active member of Rockford High School’s theatre program, most recently seen as Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. She is a senior at Rockford High School.
Bridget Chervenka (Tree) was most recently in GRCT’S production of Free to Be You and Me. She has also made appearances in Annie, The King and I, School House Rock Live, Traveling Troupe 1997-1999, and Into the Woods. As a former member of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts, Bridget has utilized her talents on the stages of Circle Theatre, St. Cecilia Youth Chorale, C.A.R.E. and East Grand Rapids High School.
Chelsea Fish (Tree) made her debut on the stage of GRCT in Fiddler on the Roof. Chelsea has also performed with Opera Grand Rapids. She is in the 8th grade at Rockford Middle School.
Kristi Szczepanek (Tree) is making another appearance at GRCT. She has previously performed in The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, Traveling Troupe 2000, and GRCT Summer Stock’s productions of Schoolhouse Rock Live and Into the Woods. She is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts Kristi is a sophomore at Kenowa Hills High School.
Bethany Forbes (Tree) is a versatile theatre person, both on stage and off at GRCT. She has performed in many Summer Stock productions like Juvie, The Yellow Boat and Selkie. She is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Beth has worked back stage for many main stage shows. Beth is a senior at Thornapple Kellogg High School.
Stacy Feyer (Tree) is making her third appearance here at GRCT. After she performed in Free to Be You and Me, she played Florinda in GRCT’S Summer Stock production of Into the Woods. Stacy has also performed in numerous shows with the Kentwood Theatre Guild.
Heather Liskiwietz (Dancer) began ballet fifteen years ago and has been a member of C.A.R.E. for the past five years. She was most recently seen on GRCT’S in Scrooge: The Musical, but has also performed in Cinderella. Aside from ballet, Heather interned at Circle Theatre for two years and is senior at Grandville High School.
Lindsay Guelzo (Dancer) is a member of C.A.R.E. She was last seen performing in Cinderella as a dancer. Lindsay is a senior at Comstock Park High School.
Sarah Hendricks (Dancer) is a member of C.A.R.E. As a dancer, she was last seen in GRCT’S Cinderella. Sarah is a junior at Forest Hills Northern.
Jessa Napieralski (Dancer) is making her fourth appearance with GRCT. Previously she performed in School House Rock Live, Cinderella and Scrooge: The Musical. Jessa has done commercial work with Rogers and Spartan Foods. She is in the 8th grade at Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Kami Kash (Female Ensemble/Ozian) is making her debut on the stage of GRCT. She has also performed in Hello Dolly at Rockford High School. Kami is a senior at Rockford High School.
Brandy L. Goodemoot (Female Ensemble/Ozian) is making her first appearance at GRCT. She also performed with the Ionia Community Theatre and the Montcalm Community College Drama Club. Brandy has traveled the United States with Hoctor’s Dance Caravan.
Carla Fritz (Female Ensemble/Ozian) is making her first appearance with GRCT. Carla has performed with Opera Grand Rapids, GVSU and the Shakespeare Festival. Aside from performing, Carla works at the Amway Grand Plaza.
Peggy Keuning (Female Ensemble/Ozian) is not making her first appearance with GRCT. In fact, Peggy has performed in Cinderella as Portia, The Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof as Fruma-Sara. Peggy has performed with Circle Theatre, Spotlight Theatre and Calvin College. Peggy is the mother of two darling girls, and a loving wife to one husband.
Sarah LaCroix (Female Ensemble/Ozian) is joining the GRCT once again. In the past seasons, Sarah has performed in Annie, The Sound of Music and most recently, as Isabel in Scrooge: The Musical. Her other credits include productions with Circle Theatre, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Centre Stage, and the GRCC Players. Sarah is attending GRCC where she is a Theatre Major.
Jacquie Gielczyk (Female/Ozian) is returning GRCT after a hiatus that she took to major in Vocal Performance at the prestigious Indiana University School of Music. In past seasons, she has performed in The Little Mermaid, No One Will Marry A Princess… Jacquie has also performed with Walchron Arts in Bloomington, Indiana.
Todd E. Walter (Ozian) is making his debut with GRCT. Todd has also performed with Macomb Community College. He is a father of two, Natalie and Michael.
Timothy K. Schmidt (Ozian) is making his first appearance on stage with GRCT. Tim has previously worked behind the scenes as the Sound Engineer for many shows. Tim has also worked with the Flat River Players, and the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw, Indiana.
Steven Gewbowski (Ozian) is making his debut with GRCT. Steven has performed with Kenowa Hills High School, and also GRTV. Steven hopes to major in acting when he attends college.
Jeff "Jarek" Kozal (Ozian) was most recently seen in GRCT’S Scrooge: The Musical. Jeff has performed with C.A.R.E., and extensive dancing with The Polish Heritage Society Dancers, and the Wawel Polish Folk Dance Ensemble.
Shane Suforna (Ozian) is making his first appearance with GRCT. He has performed with Rockford High School, where he is a senior.
Rob Flood (Nikko) has been seen frequently gracing the stage at GRCT. His performances included: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Traveling Troupe 1998, Cinderella, Fiddler on the Roof, Camelot, Return to the Forbidden Planet and Scrooge: The Musical. He is a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Rob also received the 500+ Hours Volunteer Award for 1998-1999 and 1999-2000 given by GRCT - and was one of the winners of the City of Grand Rapids' 'Youth Making a Difference' Award.' 
Julia Freyer (Flying Monkey) is in the 7th grade at City Middle/High School. Her most recent performance with GRCT was Cinderella. Other credits include shows like Schoolhouse Rock Live, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. She is also a student of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Julia has also performed with Circle Theatre and Riverbend Payers.
Johnny Stellard (Flying Monkey) is making his second appearance with GRCT. He performed last season in Scrooge: The Musical as an Urchin. He is a member of C.A.R.E. Johnny is in the 6th grade at East Grand Rapids Middle School.
Leon Hendrix (Winkie) was most recently seen in GRCT’S last season of Free to Be You and Me and is a freshman at Lee High School.
