Cast Photos & Bios

Andy Adamson is a sophomore at Forest Hills Central. He was recently in GRCT Traveling Trope 2000 and played Young Ebby in "Scrooge; The Musical." Andy has played Henry in "Henry and Ramona" at Circle Theatre in the Park, as well as the photographer in "Charlotte’s Web" with Village Theatre Acting Co. He has also seen in World Party 2000 and Festival of Lights at Calvary Church. Besides Theatre, Andy enjoys J.V. Soccer, band, camping, Youth Group, and stage crew for other productions. He is employed by Protalent Agency.
Thad Beals is making his first appearance with GRCT. He has worked with Spotlight Theatre in "Anne of Green Gables," "Anne of Avonlea," and "Snow White." He has also worked with Children’s Creations in "Pilgrim’s Progress," Heidi," "Wizard of Oz." And "Johnny Appleseed." Thad has also appeared in a recycling commercial.
Gina Boscarino is a freshman at Rockford High School. She is a newcomer to Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. However, she has performed in shows in the Grand Rapids area. She wants to thank her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for everything He has done for her. She also wants to thank her Mom for taking her to rehearsal each night.
Chad Cattel is making a first appearance with GRCT. Acting is something he has always wanted to be involved with, and he is taking the initiative by performing in "Stuart Little."
Dana Chesla is 13 years old and is in the eighth grade at Forest Hills Central Middle School. She has performed in GRCT’s productions in "The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle," and also Traveling Troupe 2000. She is also a member of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Dana has also been a TA for Theatre Arts Day Camp. Dana has also done voice over work for television as well as radio. She enjoyed very much being a part of the "Stuart Little" cast.
Darnell Colbert is a new comer to GRCT. He has been part of a singing group for the past four years, which has performed in many cities and states. He is looking forward to working on "Stuart Little."
Ryan Colbert is making his debut in "Stuart Little." He has also been active in church programs. Ryan loves to act and hopes to perform more in the near future.
Trenton Colbert is making his first appearance at GRCT. He has performed in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Cream Coat," as well as "The Wizard of Oz" with Mickey Rooney and Johan Werly. He is also in a singing group with his brother Darnell.
Erin Davis is 10 years old and in the fifth grade at Lakeside Elementary. This is her third year of acting with the GRCT. She also loves to play soccer.
Amy Discher is making her first appearance with GRCT. She has been acting since she was young, and has performed a variety of shows for Catholic Central High School. In Master Art Theatre, she has performed in "Fiddler on the Roof." With the South East Student Players she also performed in "Fiddler on the Roof." Amy works at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum and provides in home day care, She is happily married to a wonderful husband, Drew, who inspired her to return to theatre.
Ty Falk has been acting and singing since he can remember. He was last seen at GRCT in the production of "Camelot" last winter. He has also performed in "Once On This Island," "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," Sleeping Beauty," and "Wiley and the Hairy Man." He has worked tech for "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk" and

"The Wizard of Oz." He attended a two-week musical theatre program at Eastern Michigan University.

Antonio Garza is making his first appearance at GRCT. He has performed with Spotlight Theatre in "Anne of Green Gables," Anne of Avonlea," and "Snow White." Antonio works at Spectrum East. His favorite past times include painting/ drawing and listening to music.
Jode Kilpatrick is making his first appearance at GRCT. He is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is the co-founder of White Rose Theatre. Jode has worked off- Broadway as well as in film and television.
Kate Kilpatrick participated in GRCT’S Theatre Arts Day Camp 2000, and 1999. She attends Forest Hills Central 5/6 School where she plays the cornet. Kate was part of the West Michigan Academy of Music for girls choir. She loves dogs, especially her own.
Chrissie Ludwig is seven years old and is in the third grade. She last appeared in GRCT’S "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk." Chrissie has toured with Master Arts with "Charlotte’s Web." She is the youngest of six siblings and is home schooled.
Brian Martin was most recently seen in "Scrooge; The Musical" as Tiny Tim. He was also in GRCT’S Children production of "Free to Be, You and Me." Other credits include the title role in "Oliver" with the Riverbend Players, and several productions with Children’s Creations. Brian is in the fifth grade at St. John Vianney School. Currently, he is on the soccer team as well as in choir. He hopes to someday be a professional singer or a music teacher.
Keith Oleneack is a senior at Kenowa Hills High School. He has performed in his school’s musicals of "Guys and Dolls," and "Brigadoon." Keith has taken dance lessons for the past nine years with Rockford School if Dance. He has previously attended a musical theatre workshop in New York City. Keith hopes to earn a degree in performing arts in college. He is making his first appearance with GRCT.
Bethany Perry is a highly dramatic child who made her first debuts creating skits in front of the fireplace in her living room. She has worked with Village Theatre, Spotlight Theatre, and Master Arts Theatre in the Festival of Lights at Calvary Church. Bethany loves to sing, as well as being a mother to her wonderful daughter, and of course fulfill her dramatic destiny in theatre.
Mary Beth Quillin is a seasoned performer at GRCT. He most recent appearance was in "Love Letters." She has also performed in "On Borrowed Time," "A Christmas Carol," (1988, 1989, 1990) "I’m Not Rappaport," and "The Velveteen Rabbit." Other credits include productions with the Heritage Theatre Group, Jewish Theatre of Grand Rapids, and WGVU. Mary Beth is a teacher at the GRCT School of Theatre Arts and the Road Manager for Traveling Troupe. She is also on the Board of Directors for Heritage Theatre Group. She is a free-lance video and audio artist. Mary Beth is married to Gary Mitchell.
Deb Riemersma was most recently seen in "The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle" at GRCT. She is a member of the School of Theatre Arts. Deb was also in production with Ladies Literary Club, Western Michigan and Goddess Fest 2000.
Dustin F. Stek is 12 years old and attends Calvin Christian Middle School. His credits include "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk," "Conversations with My Father," and "The Wind on the Willow" as well as "The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle" at GRCT. Dustin likes to play the piano and drums. He also enjoys swimming, football and acting. 
Molly Storey is 13 years old and attends Forest Hills Central Middle School. Though this is his first show with GRCT, she is a member of the School of Theatre Arts and has participated in Theatre Arts Day Camp in the summer. She also performed in the Broadway Theatre Guild production of "Annie." Her favorite food is mashed potatoes and she likes to hang out with her friends. She loves Disney World and collects pens.
Jennifer VanEck is a senior at Rockford High School. She was most recently seen in "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk" at GRCT.
Jessica VerBurg is a sophomore at Grandville High School. She recently appeared in GRCT’S Summer Stock production of "The Yellow Boat." Other credits with GRCT include Summer Stock productions, and Traveling Troupe 2000. Jessica is a TA and a member of the School of Theatre Arts. Jessica has performed with Master Arts, as well as other companies. She is currently taking lessons in dance from Tito Hernandez. She loves to volunteer and model
Hannah Wagner is in the fifth grade at Wealthy Elementary. She is a member of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts. Hannah is making her first appearance on stage.
Chyna Whitfield is in the sixth grade at Vista Charter School. She is an avid reader and a budding shop-aholic. She is making her first appearance with GRCT.

Molly Young is in the fourth grade at Riverdale Elementary. She was most recently seen in GRCT’S production of "Jack and the Giant Beanstalk." Other credits include productions with Actors Theatre, Heritage Theatre, Circle Theatre in the Park and Master Arts. Molly likes art, seeing plays and music.
