Carol Black (Ruella Welles) has been in over 15 Civic Theatre productions including Steel Magnolias ('90 & '99), A Chorus Line, Same Time, Another Year, The King and I ('77 & '96), Man of La Mancha, and South Pacific. She has served on Civic Theatre's Board of Directors and is currently President of the Board. She received Civic Theatre's Jim Mitchell Volunteer Award in 1996. She has appeared in Circle Theatre, Actor's Theatre, Madame Babe's Dinner Theatre and Centre Stage productions; served on Circle's and Actor's Theatre Board of Directors. She received Circle Theatre's Norma Brink award in 1995 and was a 1997 Grand Award nominee for Best Actress in a Musical. Carol is a free-lance radio, TV, industrial talent and vocalist and is Development Director for the Arts Council of Greater Grand Rapids. | |

John Frieberger (Harold) was in Civic Theatre productions of Singin' in the Rain, Wizard of Oz, Much Ado About Nothing, Scrooge: the Musical and has taken classes at Civic School of Theatre Arts. In his over twenty years in theatre he has appeared with Jewish Theatre Grand Rapids, Actor's Theatre, Holland Civic Theatre, Albion Community Theatre and Flint Community Players. He is Director of Technology for Fennville Public Schools and is a free-lance talent. | |

Jon March (Julian Goodman) was in Civic Theatre productions of The Wizard of Oz, Barefoot in the Park, Moon Over Buffalo, Love Letters, Born Yesterday, A Few Good Men and Other People's Money. He has served on Civic Theatre's Board of Directors since 1990 and as President of the Board for two years; taken classes at Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts. Mary Beth Quillin (Jessical Welles) has a long list of credits with Civic Theatre including Children's Theatre's Stuart Little, Love Letters, On Borrowed Time, I'm Not Rappaport and A Christmas Carol ('90, '89 & '88). She is on staff in Civic Theatre's Education Department; teaches in Civic Theatre's School of Theatre Arts and is road manager of the Traveling Troupe since 1995. She has worked with Circle Theatre, appearing in productions and serving on the Board of Directors, Stage 3, LLC Classical Theatre, Madame Babe's Theatre, East Grand High School (director, costumer and producer) productions. | |

Kimberly Mercatante (Poopay [Phoebe]), was in Civic Theatre productions of Sylvia ('97 & '01), Barefoot in the Park, The Foreigner, Little Shop of Horrors and Woody Guthrie's American Song among others. She received the Grand Award for Lead Actress in Sylvia and the Grand Award for Leading Actress in a Musical for Little Shop of Horrors. She has appeared in over twenty productions in area theatres including Actor's Theatre, Circle Theatre, Robeson Players, Centre Stage, Madame Babe's Dinner Theatre, Holland Community Theatre, and Grand Haven's Central Park Players. Gary E. Mitchell (Reece Welles) was in Civic Theatre productions of Singin' in the Rain, Much Ado About Nothing, Love Letters, The Sisters Rosenzweig, The Rain Maker, Born Yesterday and Lost in Yonkers. In 1995-96 he received the Civic Theatre Len Kopka Award for outstanding new actor. He has appeared in productions with LLC Classical Theatre, Heritage Theatre Group, Jewish Theatre Grand Rapids, Mount Pleasant Community Theatre and Farewell Community Players.
