Aaron Fryc (Tom) Previously, Aaron has performed in James and the Giant Peach and Moon Over Buffalo. Aaron has worked extensively with Actors Theatre and also Heritage Theatre. His most recent performance was this past summer playing a police officer in Billy Crystal’s new movie 61. He also received his SAG card. Aaron owns FRYCin’ Freelance, and does voice-overs for major companies throughout the country.
Marla McFadden is reprising her role as Leslie. She has appeared in numerous shows that include: Sylvia 1997, Pinocchio, Life With Father, Annie, Inherit the Wind, You Can’t Take it with You and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Marla is a member of the GRCT School of Theatre Arts.
Margretta Pedersen (Kate) is making her first appearance with GRCT. She has performed many shows with the West Shore Community College that include: Enemy of the People an, A Christmas Schooner and A Piece of my Heart. Professionally, she has performed with Lake Forest Productions, Bohemian Productions and Steward Warne Productions in such shows as Cemetery Club, Faith Healer, Talking With and Steel Magnolias.
Alice Kennedy is reprising her role as Phyllis. Alice has appeared in GRCT productions like Sylvia 1997, School House Rock Live! and The Magic Mrs. Piggle Wiggle. Alice has also performed with Actor’s Theatre and Opera Grand Rapids. Alice is President of Kennedy Management Resources, Inc., and is also the Producer of Diversity Theatre, which provides training for diversity issues.
Greg Rogers is reprising his role as Greg. Greg has appeared in The Foreigner and Cinderella at GRCT. Greg is one the busiest actors in town. He has also worked with Actor’s Theatre, Heritage Theatre Group, Jewish Theatre, Undercover Productions and Circle Theatre. Greg was Grand Award Nominee for his performance in Sylvia 1997.

Greg is a 2000 Grand Award Winner for his hilarious performance in Vast Difference at Circle Theatre. Greg also had a feature role in the motion picture Last Big Attraction with Christine Elise. He is also on the Board of Directors at Actor’s Theatre serving as Treasurer.

Kimberly Mercatante is reprising her Grand Award Winning as Sylvia. Kim was most recently seen as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors for which she also won a Grand Award in 1998. Last season Kim starred in Barefoot in the Park. Her other credits with GRCT include: My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the Roof, Mystery Edwin Drood, Woody Guthrie’s American Song, and Sylvia 1997. She has also performed in over 35 shows throughout the area with Actors Theatre, Robenson Players, Centre Stage, Circle Theatre, Madam Babes, Holland Theatre, and Central Park Players. Kim is also a Credit Manager for Gordon Food Service.
Kevin Cavanaugh composed the original score for this production of Sylvia. Now a resident of San Diego, California, Kevin is still well known in West Michigan for his musical talents on and off stage. Most recently, he has appeared on stage in Pump Boys and Dinettes at Circle Theatre. He was musical director at GRCT for Schoolhouse Rock Live! and The Christmas Pageant Ever. Kevin has also performed in many supper clubs throughout the area. Currently he is performing at Bourbon Street, and The Turf Supper Club in San Diego with his group Blue Velvet.
